What's on the plate

Kebob
Seasoned whole pieces of beef or chicken, skewered and broiled over a grill.
Kufta
A cracked-wheat shell mixed with meat and special spices, stuffed with sautéed beef and onions.
Sarma
Grape leaves, stuffed with rice, onion, and special spices.
Boureg
A cheese or spinach mixture baked in layers of phyllo dough.
Lahmajoun
A thin Armenian-style pizza, topped with a mixture of ground beef, onion, parsley, and spices.
Hummus
A puréed dip made of chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice.
